Its mission is to empower students to change the world through optimal health and happiness. The Health Coach Training Program, IIN’s signature offering, is a year-long online course that covers a wide variety of nutrition, wellness and business topics. Using the IIN Learning Center app, students can learn from anywhere with any compatible device. Students learn more than 100 dietary theories as well as nutrition concepts like bio-individuality, primary food, emotional eating and superfoods, among others. In preparation for a career in health coaching, students receive guidance on marketing, business building, time management, coaching, listening and public speaking; they are also equipped with a website, health coaching materials, and marketing materials such as business cards and newsletter templates. Founder and Director Joshua Rosenthal leads most of the lectures. Additionally, many leaders in business, wellness, and holistic health serve as guest speakers, including Deepak Chopra, MD, Andrew Weil, MD, Geneen Roth, David Wolfe, Arianna Huffington, and more. IIN has been licensed by the New York State Education Department since 2009 and is recognized by the The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS). Through its partnership with colleges and universities across the US, IIN graduates earn up to 40 college credits that can be applied towards a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or a Continuing Education Certificate. Educational partnerships include International Health Coach University, Saybrook University, Qualifi, SUNY Purchase, Maryland University of Integrative Health, Goddard College, California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), and Excelsior College. The Institute for Integrative Nutrition offers additional courses and programs that build off its Health Coach Training Program. Geared towards graduates looking to expand their knowledge in various areas of interest, IIN offers courses in advanced business, gut health, hormone health, emotional eating psychology and coaching. Joshua also leads the Launch Your Dream Book course, a step-by-step guide for graduates looking to get published. IIN is recognized as an accredited business by the Better Business Bureau and holds an A+ rating.
